Welcome to the Lake Elementary Library! I’m Dr. Erin Parker, and I’m so excited to be your librarian. I can’t wait to explore books, discover new ideas, create, learn, and have lots of fun with you this year!

This is my 24th year in education and my 12th year serving students at Beach and Lake Elementary. I earned my Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Research from the University of Southern Mississippi, but some of my favorite learning happens right here in the library!

In our library, we’ll do much more than read. I love connecting books with STEM, art, and language arts and helping students become curious thinkers, creative problem-solvers, and lifelong readers. Whether you love adventures, mysteries, funny stories, animals, science, or discovering something completely new, there is a book waiting for you!
