While at the LaPointe-Krebs House, our 4th graders had the opportunity and experience to learn how the Native Americans lived, games played during Colonial times, toured the museum on site, learned the difference between Spanish and French architecture, how to make bricks the Spanish way and the French way, how the Native Americans taught Mr. Krebs how to grow Indigo, and finished with a math scavenger hunt tour of the cemetery. It was a fun-filled day of learning and the students had a wonderful time!
