Our students were challenged to collect change in efforts to help send relief to the teachers and students of Dickenson, TX, who were struck by Hurricane Harvey. To encourage the collection we held a friendly contest between the grades to see who could collect the most. Fourth Grade won the contest by collecting over 100 lbs. of change! All the grades did an excellent job and it was a close race. All together the students collected 500 lbs. of change which amounted to $1300!!! We are so proud of our students for reaching out and serving their neighbors and truly learning what community and country are all about!
